Field Education
Field education is an integral part of the social work program at OLLU. The Worden School of Social Service has established partnerships with an extensive network of public and private social service agencies to provide students with a wide range of opportunities for internships.
What is Field Education?
Field education is a collaboration of the student, field instructor and 天美影院faculty liaison. Using the framework established by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards, and the guidance from the field instructor and faculty liaison, students complete an educational plan and bi-weekly supervisory logs that allow them to chronicle, document and reflect upon their learning activities.
BSW and MSW students work with the staff in the Field Education Office to find placements that align with their goals.
