Major: Education Major- EC-6 and Special Education Certification
Campus Activities: Volleyball Team Manager for 4 years, TAFE Vice President (Texas Association of Future Educators), BESO Secretary (Bilingual Education Student Organization), Future Teacher Ambassador, where I visited high schools and community colleges working to recruit future teachers for the university鈥檚 education department.

Impact of OLLU: 天美影院has provided me with great experience before entering the classroom for this upcoming school year. The 天美影院Education Department has guided me in what is needed for a great education. 

An important life lesson learned: The biggest life lesson I have learned is to be successful in anything that you do, you must organize your life, there is so much going on at one time so to stay on top of things get a calendar!

Plans for the future: I hope to continue my lifelong learning experience in teaching students and learning from them. I have a job lined up as the Fifth Grade Collaborative Teacher at Hatchett Elementary in Northside Independent School District.
